David O'Leary is threatening to break up the Leeds squad because he believes some players have taken the club as far as they can.
Leeds' UEFA Cup exit at the hands of PSV Eindhoven on Thursday has ensured another trophy-less season for O'Leary.
On the back of a nine-match winless streak, Leeds' worst run since the 43-year-old Irishman took over, O'Leary is ready to make tough decisions.
O'Leary said: "I won't be afraid to break up this team, and I hope I will be given the backing to do that.
"We have a lot of people who could potentially bring in a lot of money if we need it. So I won't be afraid to cash in if I think it is right for the club."
