Eircom League: Bray stifle Shelbourne

Bray bounced back form their 4-0 FAI Cup exit to Bohemians during the week to slow down Shelbourne's charge for the title in this dour contest at Carlisle Grounds.

Bray dug in as they tried to stifle the league leaders and it worked.

Shels, who lost Richie Baker and Kevin Doherty with injury before half-time, failed to sparkle throughout.

Bray then almost snatched a win through substitute Wes Charles six minutes from time when the defender surged forward to force a flying save from Steve Williams.
