There has been fresh rioting in north Belfast.

There has been fresh rioting in north Belfast.

Members of the security forces narrowly escaped injury when a pipe bomb was thrown in their direction during clashes between rival gangs.

Police and British troops were called when the rioting broke out last night on the flashpoint

Limestone Rd between nationalist and loyalist youths. It came just 24 hours after violence in the nearby Duncairn Gardens area of the city.
