Down 0-12 Antrim 2-23

Antrim eased through to the Ulster SHC final as Down proved off colour at Casement Park.

Jim McKernan's side had little trouble in qualifying for the June 4 decider as Johnny McIntosh and Paddy Richmond fired home first half goals.

The Saffrons led 2-15 to 0-6 at the interval with McIntosh beating Down 'keeper Graham Clarke on 14 minutes and Richmond following suit nearing the half hour.

Paul Braniff kept Down, who had midfielder Andy Savage sent off in the second half, interested.

Antrim await the winners of next Sunday's New York v Derry clash in Gaelic Park.
