Minco Plc announces new appointments
Irish mining company, Minco Plc has announced the appointment of Seymour Pierce as its NOMAD and Broker.
Current chairman, John Teeling has decided to focus most of his attentions on his other resource companies and will step down from this role.
He will remain a Non-Executive Director. The Directors have asked Roger Turner to act as Executive Chairman.
Roger Turner is currently Deputy Chairman of Minco Plc and was previously Chief Executive Officer of Oxus Gold plc from the time of it's formation in 1996 until 2002.
Between 1994 and 1996 he was President and CEO of Nelson Gold Corp during the construction of their gold mine in Tajikistan, now belonging to Avocet.
Teeling said "The potential in the Minco portfolio of properties requires full time hands on attention. I cannot give that commitment.
I will remain an active and readily available director".
