Leaving Cert appeal results to be released today
Appeal results for the 2004 Leaving Certificate exams are due to be released later today.
Figures released by the exam authorities have shown that Honours English and Geography scored the highest upgrades, closely followed by honours Maths and Irish.
A total of 10,300 appeals were lodged this year, covering 32 subjects.
More than 2,000 grades were increased during the appeals process, while seven were downgraded.
