The new movie Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason has received such an enthusiastic response from audiences, it's set to be released in America a week earlier than planned.
The sequel to the 2001 hit Bridget Jones' Diary, starring Renee Zellweger, Hugh Grant and Colin Firth, was originally scheduled to be released on November 19.
But bosses at Universal Pictures have opted for a limited US opening on November 12 after getting a positive response at the Show East trade show in Orlando, Florida. The movie will go on wide release a week later.
