Two giving statements over missing girls

A 28-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman have been questioned in connection with the disappearance of Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman, Detective Chief Inspector Andy Hebb said.

A 28-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman have been questioned in connection with the disappearance of Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman, Detective Chief Inspector Andy Hebb said.

Mr Hebb said that a search was about to begin of the couple's house in the girls' home village of Soham ``for any evidence that may point to the whereabouts of Holly and Jessica''.

Police will also be searching Soham College, the school in the Cambridgeshire village where the girls disappeared 12 days ago, Mr Hebb said.
