Two children have been taken to hospital following a crash at a rally in Tralee.

Two children have been taken to hospital following a crash at a rally in Tralee.

A seven-year-old girl has been airlifted to Cork University Hospital, while a two-year-old boy is being treated at Kerry General Hospital.

It is understood the two were viewing the rally this morning when a car went out of control and collided with a barrier.

Gardaí in Tralee are investigating the incident while the children's injuries at not believed to be life threatening.
