A schoolboy basketball sensation who grew up in poverty has signed the second highest endorsement deal in sports history, worth $90m (€76m).
LeBron James, 18, has become one the world’s richest athletes before he even starts his professional career after agreeing to the seven-year contract with Nike.
The 6ft 8in player is expected to make his NBA debut with the Cleveland Cavaliers next season after he completes high school in Akron, Ohio.
