Ronnie O'Sullivan set his sights on the World title after storming to victory over Stephen Hendry in the European Open final.

O'Sullivan compiled three century breaks, including a 142, in his 9-6 win.

And his attention is now turning to the 17-day Embassy World Championship marathon, which gets under way on April 19.

"I've cued better the last two seasons than I did when I won the world title - it was just that I wasn't practising as much," said O'Sullivan.

"It's been hard because I'm always looking for perfection. But practice doesn't make perfect - perfect practice makes perfect.

"I understand that now and I'm working on a few things mentally, which is helping me to concentrate.

"I've got my appetite back to want to play and I'm practising properly again for the first time in about five months.
