4,000 fans watch Laconte beat McEnroe in Belfast

Over 4,000 fans were treated to a real spectacle at the Odyssey in Belfast last night as Henri Laconte beat John McEnroe 7-6, 6-3.

Over 4,000 fans were treated to a real spectacle at the Odyssey in Belfast last night as Henri Laconte beat John McEnroe 7-6, 6-3.

Meanwhile Jeremy Bates was a straight sets winner over Cedric Pioline.

That means tomorrow night's matches between McEnroe and Pioline and Laconte and Bates will determine who goes onto Sunday's final.
