A 24-year-old man has been killed in a road accident in Co Galway.

A 24-year-old man has been killed in a road accident in Co Galway.

The single-vehicle collision happened shortly after 5am this morning at Masonbrook, Loughrea.

There was no one else in the car at the time.

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to contact Loughrea garda station on 091 842870.
