The largest union at Aer Lingus, IMPACT, has warned of further industrial action if the company is sold off to another airline in a so-called trade sale.
Unions and management at Aer Lingus are to meet Public Enterprise and Trade Minister, Mary O'Rourke, this afternoon in Dublin.
They will be discussing a range of options including a flotation of the company and a trade sale.
Ahead of the meeting, Michael Landers of IMPACT said his members were against the trade sale option.
