Tipperary senior hurling boss Nicky English and his co selectors Jack Bergin and Ken Hogan are taking time out to reflect on their positions following the Premier County's defeat at the hands of Kilkenny in last Sunday's Guinness All-Ireland Senior Hurling semi-final.
The triumvirate have formed the management team for four years now and brought a huge level of success to the county culminating in All-Ireland glory last year.
They also won two league titles and a Munster title during their reign and lost two All-Ireland semi-finals along the way.
There has been much speculation in the media about the future of the trio and indeed Tipperary has been a hotbed of rumour on the matter since last Sunday.
The one consolation for Nicky, Ken and Jack is that nobody in Tipperary wants to see them go and they have received massive votes of confidence from GAA people and supporters throughout the county and further afield.
They also received a plethora of support from the County GAA Board following the monthly meeting in Thurles.
Chairman Con Hogan told delegates at the meeting in Thurles Sarsfields clubhouse last night that the management team wanted time to reflect before making a decision about whether or not to
remain on for another term.
"There is much speculation about the position of the Manager and the selectors. They were appointed on an open ended basis last year, but I think the important thing to remember is that nobody in Tipperary wants the management to change.
"I don't want to see it happen but it will be up to them and we will respect whatever decision they come to. They have given an awful lot to Tipperary over the last four years and their commitment has been massive," he said.
It is likely that the management team will make a collective decision on their future within the next two or three months.
This would give them ample time to weigh up next season in advance, or give someone else the opportunity to do so.
