Argentinian football fans are struggling to decide who they most want to lose the England-Brazil World Cup clash.

Argentinian football fans are struggling to decide who they most want to lose the England-Brazil World Cup clash.

An online poll attracted 18,000 votes over a week - with the outcome neck and neck until the very end.

Eventually, the poll result showed a slight majority of 52% wanting England to lose the match.

The poll, by Clarin.com, asked: "Who do you prefer to lose the match, Brazil or England?"

Some 9,609 voters wanted England to lose while 8,108 preferred to see Brazil lose the match.

Rivalry between the South American neighbours is fierce and the Brazilian media enjoyed mocking Argentina when they were knocked out of the World Cup.
