The result of Munster back row Alan Quinlan's appeal against his six-week ban for stamping will not be known until tomorrow.

The result of Munster back row Alan Quinlan's appeal against his six-week ban for stamping will not be known until tomorrow.

A meeting of the independent appeals committee at the ERC's headquarters in Dublin finished shortly after 5pm, but their decision will not be made public until tomorrow morning at the earliest.

Quinlan will be ruled out of Munster's final two Heineken Cup group games if the appeal is rejected.
