Man killed in Cork crash

A man in his twenties has been killed in a crash in County Cork this morning.

A man in his twenties has been killed in a crash in County Cork this morning.

It happened when the car he was driving left the road on the N20, Cork to Limerick road, south of Buttevant at around 6.30am.

The driver was the sole occupant of the car and no other vehicles were involved.

The road is closed and diversions are in place while Garda Forensic Collision Investigators attend the scene.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
