Aer Lingus today announced extra flights from Cork to Paris for June 2016.
The now daily service will operate nine times weekly during the month of June, adding an additional 1,400 return seats in time for football fans eager to support the Boys in Green during Euro 2016 group games.
The services will run on Fridays and Mondays.
Director of Communications at Aer Lingus Declan Kearney said: "We’re delighted to announce additional capacity on our Cork to Paris route. As a nation of avid travelers we always go the extra mile to cheer on our ‘Boys in Green’ and the extra flights allow Aer Lingus to respond to the high demand."
From May 2016 a new twice-weekly service will commence from Cork to Dusseldorf as part of the 2016 summer schedule. In addition, there will be increased frequency to key holiday spots including:
- Cork to Faro will increase from seven to nine flights per week
- Cork to Barcelona will increase from two to four flights per week
- Cork to Palma will increase from two to three flights per week
