David Trimble has attacked the DUP for planning to field rival candidates in all Ulster Unionist seats at the next election.

David Trimble has attacked the DUP for planning to field rival candidates in all Ulster Unionist seats at the next election.

The North's First Minister said such a move could split the vote and hand seats to Sinn Fein.

Mr Trimble said the tactic is a blow to unionist voters, the vast majority of whom want the Good Friday peace agreement to work.
