Tipperary 4-18 Wexford 1-13
It was all one-way traffic as Tipperary handed out a 14-point defeat to Wexford in this Allianz Division 1B National Hurling League game at Wexford Park.
Once John Carroll shot his sides first goal after eight minutes the Wexford challenge disintegrated.
The Premier County added further goals through Lar Corbett and Carroll, once again, to lead 3-12 to 1-4 at the interval.
Wexford's goal had come through Robbie Codd three minutes into injury time.
However, even with the assistance of the strong wind, Wexford never seriously threatened Tipperary in the second half with six of their second half points coming from midfielder Paul Codd, who posted 0-10 of his sides tally.
Instead it was Tipperary who simply strolled through proceedings with Lar Corbett adding his sides fourth goal after 45 minutes.
The difference in class was there for all to see as Tipperary cruised to the most easiest of victories, with big John Carroll bagging 2-2 in an outstanding display from centre-forward.
