Stan Collymore has completed his move from Bradford to Spanish club Real Oviedo.
The 30-year-old has agreed a one-and-a-half year contract with the Primera Liga outfit and will be unveiled at a news conference tonight after undergoing a medical.
Bradford chairman Geoffrey Richmond agreed to let the controversial striker go for nothing in a bid to reduce his club’s wage bill.
Collymore has beaten today’s Spanish transfer deadline with Oviedo, coached by former Luton midfielder Raddy Antic, currently 13th in their league.
An Oviedo spokesman said: ‘‘Collymore has signed for this season and next. He will arrive in Oviedo this morning from Madrid and will be presented to the media at 7pm.’’
