Russell Crowe has admitted he accepted a part in Neighbours so he could work with Kylie Minogue.
He'd been working at a Melbourne theatre when he was given the part of Kenny Larkin.
The star of the highly-acclaimed Gladiator movie appeared in four shows and says he's proud of his work on the soap.
He says he's got the video and he plans to show it to his grandchildren when he's old.
He said: "I was reading the script and I'm thinking: 'This is awful.' But I get to the last scene and I've got to punch Craig McLachlan and Jason Donovan's trying to break up the fight, while Kylie Minogue is riding on my back, strangling me. And I went: 'Yes I'll do it.'"
