The bodies of two kidnapped Israelis have been found in a West Bank area under Israeli control.
A senior Palestinian security official said the two Israelis were abducted by armed men and killed near the Palestinian town of Tulkarem.
There was no immediate word on whether the killings were part of a criminal attack, or whether they might have been politically motivated.
A senior Palestinian security official said the two Israelis were accompanied by an Arab with Israeli citizenship. The town is near Israel's border with the West Bank.
The bodies were found outside the town and turned over to the District Coordination Office, where Israeli and Palestinian military officers jointly administer their areas.
Israel radio said the bodies were turned over to the Israelis, who are starting identification procedures.
