Chelsea have signed 14-year-old academy prospect Thomas Lyskov from Reading.
The talented left-sided player, who has been at the Royals for four years, is believed to have signed a five-year deal with the Stamford Bridge side.
Reading's Assistant manager Eamonn Dolan - brother of ex-Cork City manager Pat - said the club was sad to have lost Lyskov but insists the club intend to reach a financial settlement with Chelsea following the youngster’s move.
“We will be seeking appropriate compensation from Chelsea for a player with such massive potential,” he told the club’s official website, www.readingfc.co.uk.
