IMPACT health workers are planning to escalate their work-to-rule action next week, it has been announced.

IMPACT health workers are planning to escalate their work-to-rule action next week, it has been announced.

Almost 30,000 members of the union will withdraw cooperation from reporting procedures as part of their dispute with health care management over staff cutbacks.

IMPACT says this will enable members to focus their industrial action on the HSE at a corporate level.

It says the effect on patients will be minimal.
