Bohemians advanced to the last eight of the FAI Harp Lager Cup with a 2-1 win over Bray Wanderers last night.
It was a game filled with controversy and referee Aidan O'Regan, having sent off three players, had to be escorted from the pitch at the final whistle.
The red carded players were Bray's Enda Gormley and Stephen Fox, and Bohs striker Alex Nesovic.
The winning goal came from Kevin Hunt's indirect free kick. Earlier, Dave Morrison had put the Dubliners ahead only for Dave Campbell to equalise.
The tie between Kilkenny City and Cherry Orchard has still to be resolved. The two met in Dublin last night when the Leinster League side held the Premier Division team to a 1-1 draw.
The visitors took the lead after just two minutes through Carlos Rocha.
Twenty minutes later, Orchard pulled themselves back level with a goal from Michael Horan. The replay will take place next Tuesday at Buckley Park.
There is more cup action today with Derry City facing Shelbourne, Longford playing St Pat's and Athlone Town travelling to Cobh.
