A Dáil committee has not raised any objections to a massive bailout for the health service.

The Health Minister's formally requested €680m in extra funds to keep services going to the end of the year.

More ministers will make similar requests later this afternoon and this evening.

Leo Varadkar has said there is a chance the health budget for next year will not be sufficient either.
