Charmer Hugh Grant may have made his last film, if a new interview is to be believed.
The Four Weddings and a Funeral star says he is fed up with showbusiness and wants to find a nice girl to settle down with. “I’m ready... I need to get married and have children,” he tells Vanity Fair.
“Put it this way: If I went to a party tonight and bumped into a fantastic girl, whereas three years ago it might have led to a short-term relationship, now I definitely keep my thoughts open to the idea of settling down and breeding. Definitely.”
Although he is still partners with Elizabeth Hurley in their Simian production company, he rules out a romantic reunion with her.
“She’s with another guy and we’re good friends but no, that train has sailed, as Austin Powers would say.”
Grant says of acting: “I kind of hate it. In fact, I hate it quite a lot – all acting, but especially movie acting.”
