Aer Lingus pilots are to meet at 7pm today to vote on Labour Court proposals aimed at ending the dispute that has left all the airline’s flights grounded for the past three days.

Aer Lingus management has accepted the proposals, saying they are in line with the objectives of the company’s post-September 11th survival plan.

IMPACT’s executive council also voted unanimously in favour of the deal last night and will recommend that pilots do the same tonight.

Union spokesman Bernard Harbour said he is confident the pilots will support the proposals.
