Man recovering from attack in Belfast

A man is recovering in hospital after being badly beaten in an attack in north Belfast. The 38-year-old is reported to be in a critical condition.

A man is recovering in hospital after being badly beaten in an attack in north Belfast. The 38-year-old is reported to be in a critical condition.

He was attacked at around 2am at Beechnut Place. The incident happened in the Manor Street and Derryogue park road area of the city.

Police in the North state that he suffered serious injuries to his head, abdomen and legs. An investigation is now underway.
