Lufthansa's pilots have called off a 24-hour strike planned for tomorrow after agreeing to take their pay dispute with the airline to arbitration.
Monika Gubel, spokeswoman for the German airline, said arbitration would start as soon as possible.
The pilots have already staged two 24-hour strikes, and had threatened to strike every Thursday until their demands were met.
They are demanding a 24% wage increase to achieve parity with competitors.
