Colin Farrell is expanding his repertoire as he signs a deal to become a model for fashion conglomerate Ralph Lauren.

As the new face of the fashion house he will earn a cool $3.2m (€2.8m) for the contract.

It seems Ralph saw Colin at the New York premiere of his hit movie Phone Booth and thought the dark and sultry star would be perfect for his campaign.

Colin will appear in TV and magazine adverts and is said to be considering stepping onto the catwalk as well.
