Although Jennifer Garner has become an in-demand film actress since her role as Elektra in Daredevil, she will be staying with her television drama series Alias for a long time to come, according to sources.
She is reportedly on the verge of signing a new deal that will give her a big jump in salary and keep her on the show until 2008.
Garner, who has earned two Emmy and two Golden Globe nominations for her role as undercover agent Sydney Bristow, started with a salary of £25,000 (€36,000) per episode.
She will earn £100,000 (€142,397) when the series returns for its third season this autumn, say sources.
She plans to continue making feature films while during breaks from Alias.
While a script is being prepared for a Daredevil spin-off in which she will star as Elektra, she will appear with Lisa Kudrow in the film Happy Endings, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
