Cocaine, cannabis, cash and cigarettes worth over €400,000 have been seized at Dublin Airport.

Over the past four days, customs officers have recovered €77,000 worth of drugs, €330,000 cigarettes and €37,000 in cash.

On Thursday, a 20-year-old Romanian man was arrested after he arrived on a flight from Brazil, having swallowed 34 pellets of cocaine.

On Saturday, 3.5kgs of herbal cannabis was found in the luggage of a 27-year-old Belgian man who arrived on a flight from Charleroi.

And on Sunday, €37,000 was seized from a Congolese national as he attempted to leave on a flight to Amsterdam.
