British man held in al-Qaida probe

A British man was today reportedly being held in Pakistan suspected of having links with the al-Qaida terror network.

A British man was today reportedly being held in Pakistan suspected of having links with the al-Qaida terror network.

The man, named as James Alexander McLintock, is said to have been detained by Pakistani authorities at the Afghan border, close to a former terrorist training camp.

He was believed to have a British passport and could speak Arabic as well as English. He was thought to be originally from Scotland and was picked up 10 days ago.
