Scotland international striker Paul Dickov has signed a new deal with Leicester which will keep him at the club until 2005.

Dickov scored 20 goals to lead Leicester back into the Barclaycard Premiership last season.

He told the club’s official website, www.lcfc.co.uk: “I am delighted to have signed a new contract and am thrilled to have got it all sorted out.

“There was never any doubt in my mind I wanted to stay and luckily it was the same for the club.

“The last year has been fantastic for me and I am now looking forward to another two years with the club. Hopefully I can carry on where I left last season.”
