Pop hunk Justin Timberlake has laughed off reports he is quitting music to concentrate on his film career full-time, insisting he intends to balance the two jobs.

The former 'N Sync star has a string of films coming out this year, including Black Snake Moan and Alpha Dog.

However, Timberlake says he feels just as passionate about music as he does about acting and will carry on his double career.

He tells MTV: "Hopefully I'll find a way to manage the two, because it does become a stretch.

"I always wanted to get into film and then the right opportunities came up and I didn't want to poop on them. I got to work with directors I thought were cool and I had a blast."
