Light weight boxer Katie Taylor has won her last-16 bout at the AIBA World Women's Boxing Championships in China today.
The fight against Saida Khassenova of Kazakhstan was stopped in the final round as the three-time world champion led from the start.
There are still four Europeans involved in the tournament which means Taylor has not qualified for London yet.
Next up for the Bray Lightweight is Mihaela Lacatus in the quarter-final tomorrow.
Earlier, Ceire Smith lost her round of 16 contest at the World Championships.
The fly weight was well beaten in her bout.
