Four children, missing from their home in County Louth since Thursday, have been located in Newcastle Co. Down.

All four, ranging in age from one to twelve, were found in the North in the past hour.

A major police operation involving Interpol, the PSNI and British police was launched after Gardaí became increasingly concerned for the safety of the Eaton children.

Chloe, Jon, Jessica and Megan had been last seen at their home at Tullykeel in Ardee on Thursday.

But in the past hour they were tracked down to a B&B in the North.

The owner of the B&B alerted the PSNI to their location.

PSNI officers have arrested a man and a woman and the children have been taken into care.

No further details are as of yet available.
