A convicted brothel keeper, who says prostitution should be legalised, has been hit with a £600,000 tax bill.

A convicted brothel-keeper, who says prostitution should be legalised, has been hit with a £600,000 tax bill.

56-year-old Marie Bridgeman, who pleaded guilty earlier this month to running two brothels in Dublin city centre, was brought before Dublin District Court yesterday evening.

She will appear in court again this morning to surrender her passport.
