Kevin Doyle is likely return to the Cork City attack for tonight’s Setanta Cup clash with Shelbourne at Turner’s Cross (Kick off 7.15pm).

Doyle missed Friday’s league 1-1 draw with Bray Wanderers because he was on international duty with the Republic of Ireland Under 21 squad, but will return tonight at the expense of either Neale Fenn or Denis Behan. Striker John O’Flynn will sit out the game with a hip injury.

Shelbourne, meanwhile, will be without Bobby Ryan, Glen Fitzpatrick and Alan Moore while Jim Crawford is rated doubtful with a toe injury.
