Garda corruption tribunal to make ruling on costs today

Witnesses who failed to cooperate with the Morris Tribunal investigating alleged garda corruption in Donegal are expected to have their costs applications rejected today.

Witnesses who failed to cooperate with the Morris Tribunal investigating alleged garda corruption in Donegal are expected to have their costs applications rejected today.

The tribunal has ruled that several garda and civilian witnesses deliberately withheld information during the inquiry.

The two men at the centre of the corruption claims, Superintendent Kevin Lennon and Detective Noel McMahon, were found to have orchestrated bomb finds in order to further their own careers.
