Nicolas Anelka will bid to mark the signing of his new improved Bolton contract by continuing his impressive start to the season against Everton at the Reebok Stadium.
The Frenchman could be joined in attack by Kevin Davies, who returned to the bench last week after suffering a hamstring injury in the opening day defeat to Newcastle.
Andy O’Brien will also be considered but Ricardo Gardner (hamstring) and Joey O’Brien (knee) are still out, while Abdoulaye Faye was expected to complete his move to Newcastle.
