A Charlotte Church website has been forced to shut down because of its alleged sexual content.

The singer's record company received calls from fans who were angered by "lewd suggestions" on the site.

Church will be 16 next month.

She has recently dressed in a more adult fashion.

But she has denied trying to be more sexy, saying her evolving image is all just part of growing up.

Fans found the website while searching for information about her career.

Sony spokesman Alex Cowan said: "It was put in the hands of our legal team - we do all we can to protect Charlotte."
