Richard Hughes has given up his rides at Nottingham this afternoon due to illness.

The jockey had three bookings at Colwick Park, but has decided against making the trip north as he is feeling under the weather.

His agent, Tony Hind, is expecting him to be back for five rides at Salisbury on Wednesday.

“The office rang me this morning to say Richard wasn’t very well and that he wouldn’t be riding this evening,” said Hind.

“Hopefully he’ll back riding on Wednesday.”
