Liam Lawlor TD has informed the High Court that he has fully co-operated with the Flood Tribunal.

Liam Lawlor TD has informed the High Court that he has fully co-operated with the Flood Tribunal.

As part of a sworn statement read out in court, Mr Lawlor said some financial institutions have not co-operated with him.

The Dublin West TD could be returned to prison this week, if the High Court is satisfied that he has not co-operated fully with Justice Fergus Flood.

Since last Friday, Justice Smyth has been hearing evidence that Mr Lawlor has not been forthcoming, particularly in relation to transactions involving large sums in Liechtenstein and the Czech Republic.

In a sworn statement by Mr Lawlor, read into the court's record today, he says the banks in question have not responded to his request for documentation.

Mr Lawlor's legal team will present further testimony later today.
