Lennox Lewis faces fights inside and outside of the ring in the coming months.
His bout with American Hasim Rahman was confirmed for April 21 in Johannesburg.
But he must also steel himself for a legal clash with his promoter Panos Eliades who claims he is owed millions of dollars by the heavyweight champion.
Lewis' manager Frank Maloney refused to comment on the likely impending legal wrangle with Eliades, but he was able to provide details of Lewis' latest defence of his IBF and WBC titles.
"It is just outside Johannesburg, Carnival City, and will be confirmed later on today at a press conference in London," he told Radio Four's Today programme.
"I was in South Africa last week viewing the site and looking at the facilities. They are first class.
"The only problem is obviously the fight is 1,000 feet above sea level, so we will have to move there at least four weeks before the fight to prepare for it.
"It will be indoors and it will be early hours of the morning to accommodate American TV."
But before then he may have to concern himself with the legal storm Eliades is brewing up amid reports his relationship with Lewis has gone off the rails and he is being ditched from his job as promoter.
Asked whether it is accurate to say that he is to be dismissed by the Lewis camp, Eliades said: "They cannot sack me. They are trying to get rid of me but they cannot sack me."
Eliades is determined to hang on to what he believes is rightfully his, though, and made it clear he will not be going quietly.
"I am under contract with them, so it is going to be a problem. It looks as if it is going legal.
"I am suing Lennox Lewis because at the moment Lennox Lewis is holding about two-and-a-half million dollars of my money.
"We are in New York and instructing our solicitors to take action to preserve our position as far as the contracts are concerned and ask for our money back."
