Sky Blues to find troublemakers

Coventry City have vowed to ban angry fans who tried to confront manager Gordon Strachan after the 3-1 home defeat against Everton on Saturday.

Coventry City have vowed to ban angry fans who tried to confront manager Gordon Strachan after the 3-1 home defeat against Everton on Saturday.

Security chiefs at Highfield Road have been looking at video tapes of the post-match scenes and hope to identify the culprits.

Strachan has come under fire after one win from their last seven league games has seen them plummet to second-from-bottom in the Premiership.

Club security officer Bob Rankin told City's website: "We have security tapes and video footage from Sky and we are confident of picking the three people out.

"Once they have been identified they will be issued with lengthy bans.

"They are not wanted at football and we intend to enforce our policy rigidly."
