Kevin Fennelly's tenure as Dublin senior hurling manager appears to be hanging in the balance.
Kilkenny man Fennelly has yet to hold showdown talks with Dublin chiefs John Bailey and John Costello and is uncertain about where his future lies.
He said: "Obviously, I'd like to find out as soon as possible if my services are still required by Dublin, but really I feel more concerned for the players and selectors.
"Over the last 10 days, I've had no fewer than six players on the phone to me enquiring about when training is going to start for next year's league."
